A Masterpiece on Somali nuances.

A very accurate reflection of the Mogadishu of the 1970s and 1980s. Brings back vivid memories of the character and characters of typical Mogadishu neighborhoods without loosing sight of the class and clan layers of that era. The author has done a magnificent job in preserving an important part of Somali history for the next generation. A must read for anyone intetrsted in understanding Skmalia an Somalis.

the book is awesome and easy to read and if you can relate the book like i did because the book is about my home country the first of its kind that i got a chance to read will be helpful for the young generation of Somalis to read it to get a better understanding of their home country before hell lose broke it.
