A Must Read For Net Generation Decision Makers

We live in a complex world, yet we often yearn to understand it at a deeper level. I, for one, look for maps and guides to help me know about the complex interactions going on around me. I strive for better decisions by increasing my knowledge, and gain confidence when I find the right tools to help me do so.
"Decision Making in the New Reality: Complexity, Knowledge, and Knowing" not only provides a map of the territory, but also explains the key elements of interaction in that domain.
The Bennetts set the stage through their initial six assumptions so that as a reader, I am clear about what to expect throughout this extensive and beneficial guide to complex decision making in the 21st century. As the Bennetts point out, we live in a CUCA world: "[CUCA = increasing Change, Uncertainty, Complexity and Anxiety]". I guarantee that when you complete your journey through this marvelous work that they have created, you will have the tools to decrease your anxiety and uncertainty, as well as help in more easily adapting to change, and dealing with all forms of complexity in any domain of choice.

With their seminal book "Organizational Survival in the New World", Alex and David Bennet gave us a new and comprehensive framework to understand successful organizations as a living organism capable of adapting to an environment of increasing change, uncertainty, complexity and anxiety (CUCA as the authors call it). The lifeblood of this organization is knowledge. Leading in a CUCA environment calls for a whole new way of looking at decision-making, a way that brings us to the deeper and most unexplored capabilities of our mind.
In this new book Alex and David Bennet get it all right. If we want to solve the challenges of our time, we need a different level of knowing. We need more than new schemes or processes, we need an opening of our heart and a deepening of our awareness.
A must read for our times.
